About Us
The Superior Energy Performance partnership is a collaboration of industry, government, and non-profit organizations that seeks to improve the energy intensity of U.S. manufacturing by 25% by 2017 through voluntary initiatives. The partnership was initiated by:
- U.S. Industry
- U.S. Department of Energy Industrial Technologies Program,
- U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ENERGY STAR Program,
- National Association of Manufacturers,
- U.S National Institute of Standards and Technology Manufacturing Extension Partnership, and
- the American National Standards Institute
A Steering Committee guides the work of this collaboration, such as this website. In addition to the organizations listed above, members of the Steering Committee include representatives from the following industries:
